I am from Detroit, I know kielbasa and I know kowalski, needless to say I expected better. The quality of the fresh kielbasa has been very inconsistent. My previous order, the fresh sausage was so over spiced, it was difficult to eat by itself, I rinsed it out several times, used it in soup and kapusta..was not happy with the spicing, did not even taste like kielbasa. This current order, there is very little spice.. someone is not following the tradition recipe that has worked for many years. The solid ice bricks that the sausages were shipped with, rolled around in shipping and broke open two of the fresh sausage packages..there was pieces of packing materials inside the package.
