Polish Kielbasa & Pasta
What You'll Need: 2 lbs of polish kielbasa, 2-4 bell peppers, 2-3 onions, angel hair pasta, Alfredo sauce (Makes about 6-8 servings)
Slice the Kielbasa into thin slices (depending on thickness desired) - Chop up the peppers & onions into small chunks In a large skillet, saute the Kielbasa on low-medium heat for about 15 minutes covered - stir occasionally so it doesn't stick to the pan Slowly add the peppers and onions to the pan Keep the lid on the pan and sir often for about another 10 minutes Boil water for your pasta Once pasta is cooked, add Alfredo Sauce to the pasta
Kielbasa and Cabbage
What You'll Need: 6 slices of bacon, 1/4 cup of water, 2 tbs of white sugar, 1 chopped onion, 2 tsp minced garlic, 1/4 tsp seasoning salt, 1 large head cabbage cut into small wedges, 1 lb polish kielbasa (Makes about 6 servings)
In a large skillet, fry bacon over medium high heat until browned, turning once. Remove bacon from pan, reserving drippings, and place on paper towels. Stir water, sugar, onions, garlic, red pepper flakes, seasoned salt, into drippings. Add cabbage, and gently stir. Cover, and cook over medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes. Add kielbasa to the pan. Cook, covered, for an additional 10 to 15 minutes. Crumble bacon over top, and serve hot.
Pierogi Lasagna
What You'll Need: 2 boxes of Kowalski Handmade Cheese Pierogi, 1 jar of Pasta sauce, 2 lbs of Hamburger meat, 1 bag of shredded Mozzarella cheese, 1- 15 oz container of Ricotta cheese, 1 onion (Makes about 6-8 servings)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees In a large skillet, saute the meat until brown. Add in the chopped onion along with any desired spices Once Meat it cooked, strain the grease from the meat & put meat back in skillet On low heat, add the sauce to the cooked Hamburger In a lasagna pan, create a bottom layer of the pierogi Add a layer of Ricotta cheese & Mozzarella cheese Add a layer of the Meat Sauce Continue layering until there's no room/out of food to layer Place pan in oven & cook for 30-40 minutes Let stand about 10 minutes, then serve
