I recently received a home shipment (order #14103) of your #104 Fresh Liver Sausage.
I was excited to be able to have this item shipped to my home, it came quickly, and the packaging was great. However, I am disappointed with the freshness of the product. The expiration date in January 2023. However, the product was dry, and stiff to cut and tasted like it had been sitting in storage way to long.
I experience this when I purchase it from a deli but would have expected a much fresher product when purchasing an entire roll. You can tell when the product is fresh by it’s look, taste, and softness.
I have been a Kowalski Liver Sausage fan since I was little kid, no other brand is even close to the Kowalski quality. Unfortunately, this order did not live up to my expectations and I will probably be throwing out the entire loaf.
